Who needs an Occupational Health & Safety Program?
The requirement for your business to have an OHS program depends on several factors that include:

02 Employees
The number of people that your business employs can determine if you are required to implement an OHS program. The number of people you can employ before you must have a safety program also changes based on operating jurisdiction.
03 Industry Standards
In many industries (such as oilfield), the standard requires that you have an OHS program regardless of the number of employees you have or the jurisdiction you operate in. Some companies will even require that you obtain a COR if you would like to provide services to them.
