Did you know?

GVW is different than GVWR

Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) is the total weight of the truck and payload at a point in time. It is the GVW that is used to determine the weight to register your vehicle and the weight you register your vehicle determines whether you are a commercial carrier.

Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) is the maximum weight rating established by the vehicle manufacturer. It is the maximum allowable weight of the vehicle and payload before any additional weight of a trailer is applied.
